Cash loans in Florida
Worth being plain about the word: StrideFi does not hand out cash. Approved funds are sent by ACH to the bank account you connected, typically arriving 1–2 business days after you e-sign. If you need physical currency today, this is not the product.
If "cash loan" is shorthand for "money I can spend on anything", that is what this is — an unsecured installment loan of $2,000 to $10,000 with no restriction on how you use it.
The products people mean by "cash loan"
- Deferred presentment (payday). Small amount, repaid in a single payment within weeks, available in cash at a storefront. The fastest option and the most expensive per dollar borrowed.
- Title loan. Secured by your vehicle. Fast, and a default can cost you the car — which is why it should be near the bottom of any list.
- Credit-card cash advance. Immediate, usually at a higher APR than purchases and with no grace period, so interest starts the day you take it.
- Unsecured installment loan. What StrideFi writes: larger, cheaper per dollar, repaid in fixed monthly instalments, delivered by bank transfer rather than in cash.
No restriction on use — with one caveat
The application asks what the loan is for. That answer is recorded for our records; it does not change the decision, the rate, or how you may spend the funds.
The caveat is affordability, not permission. Underwriting tests the monthly payment against verified income, so what determines the outcome is whether the payment fits your cash flow — not what the money is for.
If you need money faster than this
Ask the party you owe for an extension or a plan. It is free, and it works more often than people expect.
Check Florida and county assistance programs for the specific expense — utility, rent, and disaster aid all exist and are not repaid.
If you are considering a payday or title loan because of the timing, price the total cost of both first. A few days of waiting is frequently worth several hundred dollars.
What it costs
| Loan amount | APR | Term | Monthly payment | Finance charge | Total of payments |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $2,000 | 35.99% | 12 mo | $200.91 | $410.92 | $2,410.92 |
| $5,000 | 31.99% | 12 mo | $492.34 | $908.08 | $5,908.08 |
| $10,000 | 28.99% | 12 mo | $969.91 | $1,638.92 | $11,638.92 |
Representative examples only, not an offer of credit. Each row assumes a 12-month term, on-time payments, and the APR StrideFi currently quotes at that amount; your APR, term, and payment depend on underwriting. Interest accrues daily on the unpaid principal balance, so paying early reduces the finance charge below the figure shown, and paying late increases it. There is no prepayment penalty.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I pick up cash at a location?
- No. StrideFi has no branch locations and does not disburse currency. Approved funds are sent by ACH to the bank account you linked during the application.
- How fast does the money arrive?
- Typically 1–2 business days after approval and e-signing, depending on your bank. ACH transfers settle on banking days, so weekends and federal holidays add time.
- Are there restrictions on what I spend it on?
- No. The purpose you select on the application is recorded but does not restrict use or affect the decision.
- Do you offer payday loans or title loans?
- Neither. StrideFi writes unsecured installment loans of $2,000–$10,000 under Florida Chapter 516. We do not take vehicle titles and we do not offer single-payment short-term loans.
