$2,000$10,000 at 28.99%–35.99% APR over 12-month terms. No application fee, no origination fee, no prepayment penalty. All applications are subject to credit approval — submitting one is not a guarantee of credit.

Initializing StrideFi…

What you need before you start

Florida residency
We are licensed under the Florida Consumer Finance Act and lend only to Florida residents.
A government-issued photo ID
Identity verification involves a scan of the ID and a selfie — a requirement for a licensed lender, not a preference.
A bank account you can connect
Linked through Plaid for read-only verification of identity, balance and income. It is also the account approved funds are sent to. We never see or hold your banking credentials.
Verifiable income
Income has to be visible in the connected account. Cash earnings that never reach a bank account cannot be verified and so cannot be counted.

What happens after you submit

  1. 01

    Identity and fraud checks

Identity verification, anti-fraud signals, and sanctions screening run first. These are federal requirements and they run on every application.

  2. 02

    Automated underwriting

We model net monthly income and balance history from your connected account and test the monthly payment we would quote against them, alongside credit-risk data from a consumer reporting agency.

  3. 03

    Human review

Automated underwriting can decline an application; it cannot approve one. Every approval is reviewed by a person before funds move.

  4. 04

    Disclosures and signature

You receive a Truth-in-Lending disclosure showing the APR, finance charge, amount financed, total of payments and payment schedule, and a promissory note to e-sign. Nothing is binding until you sign.

  5. 05

    ACH funding

Funds are sent to your linked account, typically arriving within 1–2 business days depending on your bank. ACH settles on banking days only.

The same process, in more detail, is on how it works.

What you would be signing for

$5,000 over 12 months at 31.99% APR is $492.34 a month — $908.08 in interest and $5,908.08 in total. Interest is simple daily interest on the unpaid principal, so paying ahead costs less than that.

Representative examples only, not an offer of credit. Each row assumes a 12-month term, on-time payments, and the APR StrideFi currently quotes at that amount; your APR, term, and payment depend on underwriting. Interest accrues daily on the unpaid principal balance, so paying early reduces the finance charge below the figure shown, and paying late increases it. There is no prepayment penalty.

Full rate tiers and the fee schedule are on rates and fees; model your own amount with the loan calculator.

Application questions

Does applying affect my credit?
Submitting an application involves obtaining a consumer report about you. Creating an account does not — no report is obtained until you submit. We cannot tell you how any particular inquiry will affect your score.
Is there a fee to apply?
No. There is no application fee and no origination fee, and there is never a payment required before funding. Anyone asking you for one in our name is not us.
How long does the application take?
The form itself is a few minutes. Identity verification and the bank connection happen in the same sitting. The wait after that is underwriting, human review, and ACH settlement.
What if I am approved for less than I asked for?
It happens, and it is not a decline. If the amount you requested does not clear our affordability test but a smaller amount inside our range would, the file goes to a human reviewer with that figure attached and you can accept or decline the smaller offer.
What happens if I am declined?
You receive a written adverse action notice stating the principal reasons, as the Equal Credit Opportunity Act requires. Where a consumer report was used, the notice identifies the agency and explains how to get a free copy and dispute anything inaccurate in it.
Can I apply with a co-signer or jointly?
No. StrideFi loans are single-borrower. There is no co-signer or joint application option.
Can I withdraw an application?
Yes, at any point before you e-sign. Nothing is binding until the promissory note is signed, and there is no prepayment penalty afterwards either — contact support@stridefi.io.

Before you apply

StrideFi is an online lender — we have no branch locations. Loans made by Stride Financial LLC under the Florida Consumer Finance Act (Chapter 516) to Florida residents statewide. Amounts from $2,000 to $10,000; APR 28.99%–35.99%; terms up to 12months; no prepayment penalty. Approval, loan amount, APR, and term depend on underwriting, including identity, income, and bank-account verification — not every applicant qualifies, and applying is not a guarantee of credit. Funding times depend on your bank's ACH processing.
